we have an opening for a category executive. someone who can develop the category of fashion or beauty, this includes vendor onboarding, price negotiation, product listing, etc.
the person should have eCommerce experience.A female candidate is preferred. and someone from Ahmedabad wil be good such that they have a database and contact of a vendor whom to contact for tie-upswe have one.The salary we can see can keep for now max 40k but gain depends on last CTC, if u get any good candidate den do share once we can see considering the exp. a senior level person will not, the manager will be costly i guess. but if u find any good resume we can see.the Jd for the same is as followWe are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, passionate person who would like to build a Category in an upcoming social commerce company.Drive the category growth with the help of product promotions, visibility plans, new SKUs etc
Managing merchandising, brands assortment & product availability in line with consumer demand
Plan campaigns in coordination with marketing and tech
Onboard new vendors & introduce new SKUs across categories regularly
Analyze data, build insights on industry, competition & consumer trends to fill category gaps
Manage vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve desired results.
Overall responsibility of the customer experience – Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction regarding product quality, on-time availability etc.
Create product videos, testimonials, and other online promotional & training material to promote the category
Responsible for product description, features, specs, etc on website
Campaign planning and forecasting to ensure product availability
