Job Description
- Responsible for Procurement of Direct & Indirect Material like Engineering Material, Consumables Material, Brought out items and Packing Material.
Releasing Purchase Order as per requirement & Follow up with the vendors, Follow up with the accounts for the supplier payments. Maintaining Purchase Related Documents.- Responsible for Material Planning based on Production Planning & Forecast.
Local Material Planning closes coordination with vendors for timely receipt of material as per schedule.- Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving Cost savings without hampering the production process.
Reducing lead time for deliveries. Developing alternate suppliers for Sourcing & Cost Saving.- Receiving of quotations from potential suppliers, evaluation of the quotation, preparing comparative statements, getting the approval from management rising of orders.
- Analysis of market conditions, price trends, and future market for effective costing and inventory control.
- Co-ordination with Supplier Rejection of Material, Raise Complaint & request for CAPA.
