Why This Role Exists:

To spearhead the creative, strategic, and performance-driven vision for Fiction programming by delivering GRP in line with AGP targets, developing market-defining content, and shaping cinematic storytelling. The role focuses on strengthening the fiction ecosystem by nurturing talent, building scalable IPs, and ensuring high-quality visual and narrative standards that align with the channel’s philosophy and enhance viewer engagement.

About the role:

Plan for and strategize for GRP as per the AGP targets in Fiction Space –

• Working closely with each Business and Fiction team to achieve the AGP target and achieve slot share
• Contribute to all fictions with selection of stories, screenplay development and characterisation.
• Evaluate concepts as part of the story trust presented by production houses or inhouse talent.
• Be part of the decision on making process to green light concepts.
• Ensure all concepts are in line with the channel philosophy and platform fitment.

Strategic Initiatives –

• Formulate strategies serving the omni-purpose – developing IPs that can travel markets with each identity
• Knowing trends in the markets and identifying new narratives, spaces, – Redefining what India watches, identifying potential projects
• Ideating and exploring new opportunities for fiction storytelling while collaborating with our existing fiction talents across the network.

Cinematic Visual Grammar –

• Working alongside the Chamak team to ensure quality of on-air visuals is cinematic and thus, enhancing the viewer experience.
• Adapting the best design practices from across category to develop as SOP for the Network.

Ecosystem building for Talent/Technicians

• Enabling the team to create a hub of creators including story/screenplay/dialogue writers, directors, technicians, DOPs etc which can be cross utilised across markets.
• Building alongside Tech to work on the Talent Cell as a Hub location for creators.

What We’re Looking For:

• Work Exp. 15+ Years. in TV/ Film content creation, Television Channels and Production Houses.
• Education Qualification: Post – Graduate in Communications
