Area Sales Officer We are looking to employ a driven and experienced area sales officer to increase sales within an assigned geographical area. The area sales Officer responsibilities include delivering presentations to potential and existing customers, and preparing concise sales reports. You should also be able to develop as well as modify customer frequency plans as needed. To be successful as an area sales officer, you should be committed to driving sales ultimately, an outstanding area sales officer should demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills at all times. Area Sales Officer Responsibilities: xc2xb7 Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved. xc2xb7 Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management. xc2xb7 Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness. xc2xb7 Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales. xc2xb7 Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers. xc2xb7 Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects. Area Sales Officer Requirements: xc2xb7 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field is preferred. xc2xb7 Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred. xc2xb7 Proven track record of meeting sales quotas. xc2xb7 Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. xc2xb7 Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills. xc2xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. xc2xb7 Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills. xc2xb7 Effective communication skills. xc2xb7 Exceptional customer service skills.
