Roles and Responsibilities

Should thoroughly understand the companys Physical Security Policy and Procedures.

Responsible for the physical means of protecting the property and should be very alert for proper guarding against thefts, pilferage, accidents and intruders.

Must give instructions clearly, written and verbally

Be polite with the Employees & Guests, without a compromise on security delivery.

Well versed with Telephonic etiquette’s and abide by security norms while conversing on telephone so that no confidential information is divulge.

Must maintain and update all the documents on a daily basis.

Maintain all the key register properly and shall secure the keys properly in the cabinet.

Maintain a very professional relationship with all service providers.

Carry out an internal patrol at least twice during this tenure of duty.

Maintain visitors register properly.

Any emergency situations, accidents, break in attempt, theft, or any other physical crimes should be immediately communicated to Operation’s HOD.

Ensure that the search of baggage of employees is carried out effectively. Also ensure that all the service providers are aware of the security instructions and should issue Security Guidelines pamphlet to all the service providers.

Must plan and execute, specific Loss Prevention Programs to prevent / minimize thefts and losses.

Ensure that all the guards are aware of their post and site instructions.

High light emergency risk factors, if any to his superiors immediately.

Should provide the escalation matrix of guarding company (land line and mobile numbers) to all the guards.

Critical Contact lists (Fire Brigade, Police, Hospitals etc.,) should keep at the Main Gate and should be reviewed on a monthly basis.

To ensure proper staffing is maintained in the hospital and all check points are manned and secured.

To train all security staff, fire fighters and valet parking driver about their job roles and responsibilities.

To ensure all documents are duly scanned and checked properly during the entry and exit of any items

To keep a check on all out source staff working inside the hospital.

To take daily rounds and inspect and ensure safety working condition of all employees.

To train and brief all staff under his supervision about all emergency codes of the hospital.

To ensure that all vehicles are parked in their respective zones according to the allotted space

To submit daily MIS to reporting authority.

To conduct mock drills of various protocols as per the frequency laid down by the hospital.

To ensure that all staff under his supervision has job card of particular area.
