Brief primary function of your role:
Eaton Information Technology Center located in Pune, India is looking for a Oracle HRMS Senior Analyst with technical and functional expertise across Core HRMS, SSHR, CWB modules. This position will be part of the EITC reporting into the HRMS Support leader .
The primary objective of Oracle HRMS Senior Analyst is to work on projects and/or resolve tickets related incidents and requests fulfillment related to Oracle HRMS.
This position is of Oracle Apps – HRMS Techno functional profile with good experience and knowledge on Oracle Core HRMS setups, SSHR and CWB modules. Should have good hands on experience in PL/SQL development, Oracle APIs, Alerts, Workflows, Self Service Personalization, OAF Extensions, Data Conversion, Interfaces and Work Structures. Knowledge of HRMS Security, XML Publisher Reports, OBIEE Reports, Web ADIs will be an added advantage. Requires excellent written & oral communication skills to work directly with customers on tickets.
Your essential responsibilities include:
Provide day-to-day support, predominantly High to Critical complexity incidents, that are disrupting normal business operation in a timely manner in HRMS space, to ensure timely, reliable, cost-effective service to Eaton employees and vendors.
Work on HRMS projects as techno functional consultants as and when required .
Executes enhancement requests and new requirements using standard Eaton request fulfillment process( High to Critical complexity enhancement requests).
Demonstrates the ability to question and probe technical experts or third party vendors to determine best possible solution option. Proactively seeks opportunities for efficiency improvements and partners with business to implement improvement in processes and systems.
Demonstrates end to end business process knowledge and Is able to articulate benefits/results and partner with business teams to achieve desired benefits Influences process integration; suggests innovative process solutions.
Participate in design and code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.
Works closely with other IT support groups and impacted customers for effective resolution and testing of fixes for production support issues, Build rapport with concerned stakeholders.
Work closely with other teams e.g DBA’s, HR Technologies to ensure tickets are addressed in timely manner.
Documents and create the knowledge repository which will helps in providing quick resolution of tickets.
Core driver for this role –
Expertise/knowledge of end to end HRMS configurations and impact.
Possesses in-depth understanding of existing systems, applications and their integrations and processes.
In this role, operational excellence is your priority. You track down the true root cause of issues and take action to correct the errors. You have a continual eye for improvement.
Qualifications
Qualification:
Minimum 4-7 years over all IT experience out of which minimum 3 years in developing and supporting Oracle Core HRMS, Payroll and OTL modules.
Should have strong hands on experience in PL/SQL development, Oracle APIs, Alerts, Data Conversion, Interfaces and Work Structures. Knowledge of HRMS Security, Workflows, Self Service Personalization, OAF Extensions, XML Publisher Reports, OBIEE/BIP Reports, Web ADIs will be an added advantage. Requires excellent written & oral communication skills to work directly with customers on tickets.
Worked on development/support of RICEW components(Reports, Interface, Conversion, Workflow, Extension Expertise in Oracle Workflow, OA Framework and other APPS specific technologies.(Desired)
Non-Technical Requirements
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Good understanding of key HR processes which impact system design/ functionality of HR applications.
Understanding of Industry Standard Documentation Practices.
Experience in a client-facing role for a top tier or similar consulting organization is highly desirable
Enthusiastic about learning large and complex systems.
Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
