JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS LEAD
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main point of Liaison with the Sharjah based team.
Delegate work and issues to the Sharjah Team.
Manage the daily support activities for the site’s operations such as administrative, financial, commercial Logistics, Procurement activities in order to ensure effective and efficient support and quality services.
Coordinate activities of camp accommodation staff, sanitation and maintenance crews, and recreation and Catering staff according to the company established procedures.
Controls all financial and commercial operations within the project.
Produces monthly financial and commercial reports to corporate and controls the project budget.
Manage the maintenance of up-to-date records for all Company personnel working on site.
Facilitate induction of new arrivals.
Assesses profit margins against the contract to ensure the best cause is taken when carrying out a service or procurement for the client.
Maintains total confidentiality from client and JV partners and take advice from Project Manager when dealing with client or JV partners.
Defines and clarifies any Contract issues between Petrofac and client.
Assist the Project Support Manager in the Procurement of major items of plant and equipment.
Monitors long term procurement items.
Manage the maintenance of up-to-date records for all Company personnel working on site.
Facilitate induction of new arrivals.
Liaise with Sharjah HR for visits by Petrofac engineering or other teams as required.
Carry out safety and technical audits as directed by Project Manager.
Become aquatinted with major in country suppliers of engineering services and plant and equipment.
Produce the terms of reference for a weekly Finance and Commercial Meeting,
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Overseeing the implementation of new policies or procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Managing budgets and financial planning to ensure that operational costs are covered by revenue generated by operations.
Reviewing operational reports to identify trends or problems with processes or with equipment used in operations.
Ensuring that operational policies and procedures are followed and that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Managing the human resources function for an organization’s operations department, including hiring new employees when needed.
Overseeing staff training on new technology or equipment being implemented in an effort to improve operations.
Overseeing maintenance of equipment used in operations, including computers, medical equipment, industrial machinery, automobiles, and others.
Determining staffing needs based on workload demands and business requirements, recruiting staff when necessary, and overseeing the work performance of employees.
Pre audit experience, technical and financials. (Techno commercial)
Experience in SAP.
