You will work in partnership with our APJ regional DEI Lead to ensure that the regional DEI strategy is implemented and reported out. The purpose of this role is to anchor the DEI agenda for the region by driving multiple initiatives to drive representation, engagement, and development related DEI goals for the organisation within region and respective countries. You will also partner with related People team functions and stakeholders to facilitate processes, share ideas, and influence actions to support belonging at the workplace.
What you get to do in this role:
Develop and implement initiatives that align with the regional & country specific DEI strategy.
Own project management of interventions to achieve DEI goals within country, with emphasis on scalability and effectiveness. Focus on enabling technology to ease execution.
Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and gaps. Measure success of initiatives rolled out in line with the regional DEI strategy. Support reporting of DEI metrics (qualitative & quantitative) for management reports.
Collaborate with broader People team stakeholders to operationalize programs and ensure a common message and accountability is maintained with respect to DEI deliverables and goals.
Engage with Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders to drive regional focus and community building.
Identify relevant third-party expertise and evidence-based best practices; work with suppliers as needed.
Given the often-sensitive nature of DEI data and topics, appropriately manage risk and consider employee, business, and company perspectives.
Familiar with collaborating across global teams with different time zones in an effective manner while maintaining a balanced work perspective for self.
To be successful in this role you have:
This role is best suited for a mid-level DEI practitioner. We would like someone who can demonstrate results-driven experience with:
2+ years of work experience in DEI/HR/Culture strategy with strong intercultural competencies and global awareness.
DEI subject matter expertise within the relevant markets of Asia with sound cultural awareness; passion for continuous learning
Strong program management skills, including focus on defining and tracking progress and success metrics
Relationship and stakeholder management skills
Be able to embrace change with a resilient attitude; ability to work cross-functionally with flexibility and agility in role
Ability to navigate sensitive situations with maturity and empathy
Facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to positively engage and motivate others
Experience with the Microsoft 360 suite of tools.
Familiar with collaborating across global teams in different time zones in an effective manner while maintaining a balanced work perspective for self.
