Job Description
Deliver external and internal automation projects. Building automations which are delivered to time, budget and agreed specification.
Accountable for quality of automations and client experience on aligned projects.
Develop and share development best practice with customer, partners and rest of Blue Prism organization.
Participation in new product release testing and enablement.
Deliver client and partner Knowledge Share workshops (not just the Blue Prism application but also the wider Blue Prism products and Cloud platform).
Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing and defect resolution.
Identification and development of internal automation opportunities.
Potentially participating in multiple development projects simultaneously.
Interact and participate in discussions shaping Cloud development Guidelines (Standards and Best Practices) and automation designs.
Assist with support tickets where certain expertise/experience is required.
Dimensions of the Role
Reporting to Automation Team lead and managing project delivery milestones and ongoing workload.
External or Internal automation project delivery
Client ongoing enablement
Continuous improvement of Blue Prism best practice, standards and designs.
Competencies
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Blue Prism automation development role.
Experience with the Blue Prism software, possessing Blue Prism developer certification.
Strong client-facing skills, with proven delivery experience.
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Ability to be adaptable and flexible working in a fast-paced fluid environment.
Ability to work as an individual and part of a team.
Strong written skills to create/update client and internal documentation.
Strong verbal communication skills for internal and external use.
Additional Skills, Experience, Languages
Remote working experience and collaborating with remote team members.
Knowledge of Blue Prism technical infrastructure.
Programming/Development experience of any of the following (C#, Java, Javascript, Web Services, HTML or .Net)
Relational Database experience with any of the following (SQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
Knowledge/Experience using OCR solutions within Blue Prism.
University or equivalent degree (B.S. or M.S.) in Computer Science, Business & Information Systems Engineering or related technical field.
