STARS (Standardized Training and Resource System) is a global system used primarily to manage and track dealership personnel training. The STARS Business Analyst reports to the Service Portals Supervisor and is responsible for the overall support of the STARS application.
Overall responsibility for STARS business requirements and system functionality including:
Provide application support to dealers, field, and training administrators
Document functionality of STARS for end users and administrators
Analyze business needs of Ford Motor Company training activities for inclusion into STARS
Coordinate and/or deliver training to customers as required
Provide specifications and direction to reporting team and manage customer expectations
Participate with IT staff to develop specifications, perform Customer Acceptance testing, and implement fixes and customer enhancements
Primary Skills Required:
Exceptional computer skills including Excel, Word, Power Point, WebEx, Share Point, etc.
Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills
Project management capabilities
Experience Required:
Experience in learning development/instructional design and delivery of training required to mentor emerging markets
Experience working with Corporate IT on design, development, implementation, and enhancement of new and/or existing systems
Global project management experience with a keen ability to work with global training teams. This includes flexibility to support early morning and late evening global meetings
Prior dealer contact experience highly desired
