Purpose of Position: Plant manager will Establish direction, Motivate and inspire employees, convert the corporate business strategy into a strategic operating plan, report plant information to the Management and communicate corporate direction to the plant. Act as a liaison for safety, health, and environmental issues . Plant manager will also be an agent of change in his organization

This position is responsible for planning the production schedule with in budgetary limitations and time constraints. He also monitors product standards. It involves the responsibilities for staffing, equipment, inventory control, and the coordination of production activities with those of other departments.

The position is also to ensure for facility and production equipment, plant support equipment and system, installation, modification, renovation of equipment.

Supervise the daily activities of the Production, maintenance and Stores staff. Supervision of contractors and various outside personnel during projects to ensure efficient completion of such projects.

Ensures QS system is followed, documented and updated as necessary.

keep a close watch on all staff & contractual manpower on their health parameter on daily basis related to Covid 19.

Main Dimentions

• Team of 4 direct reports for Production, maintenance and Stores functions.

Principle Accountabilities

• Translating the corporate business goals into a measurable business direction for the plant
• Executing the plant’s strategic operating plan and achieving manufacturing success
• Ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of the plant’s employees
• Self-managing and maintaining ethical, moral, and legal standards
• Lead production, maintenance production planning and stores responsibilities and a team of highly technical individuals at the facility
• Responsible for facility and production equipment, plant support equipment and system
• Preventive maintenance programs Projects dealing with installation, modification, renovation of equipment
• Lead efforts to upgrade facility for efficiency, safety, and reliability
• Monitor and control costs, hiring, scheduling, and development of maintenance partners in team environment.
• Manage repairs, supplies, purchases, and budgets
• Assure compliance with government regulatory agencies

Job Relevent Skills

• Extensive knowledge in Polymer Technology and high standard maintenance for high precision machines and in depth knowledge of Compounding and Extrusion techniques.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals (managers, marketing, sales, development, testing, HR, customer support) Experienced in large corporate environments, working with multiple business units.
• Managing project related activities.
• Strong communication skills including on technical subjects.
• Very effective at capturing user requirements and processes and translating them into documentation appropriate for development, testing and training. Achievement Orientation

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Engineering
• 15 years of plant or project management experience
