Your field of responsibility As part Equities Control Regulatory Reporting Team you will * Work on implementing data quality and control improvements on data sets which feed to US regulators as a part of the various US Regulatory reporting requirements likeCAT, Electronic Blue sheets / 605-606 that are applicable to US Equities and Options businesses * Be required to elicit requirements from stakeholders using a range of elicitation techniques, prepare functional requirements documents, functional test cases as well as Data Retrieval & Analysis in support of regulatory or operational inquiries. * Be required to verify requirements and their scope and priorities with stakeholders, manage requirements change and maintain requirements traceability * Be required to work with a wide range of internal IT and business partners, primarily staff in the Legal and Compliance department, Sales and Trading Desks and the associated application development teams to validate solutions along with QA Team. * Candidate needs to regularly work in evenings to maximize overlap with U.S. based stakeholders * The wide-ranging nature of the role will both require and foster an enterprise-level view of the high-level economic and regulatory landscape in which we operate and the core business processes involved in equity trade processing. This team is responsible for ensuring Regulatory compliance by making sure all the US regulatory reporting obligations are met for the Equities and Options trading conducted by the US Front office. Development and support teams work out of New York and Pune. Your skills and experience As a Business Analyst for the Equity control reg reporting team candidate should have: * 5 years Business Analysis experience o Experience of requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation o Experience of requirements management and planning o Experience of Solution Assessment and Validation o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Understanding of development and implementation lifecycles o Ability to motivate others, drive working groups and resolve disagreements * Working knowledge of Equity Cash Trading Concepts like Hi Touch and Low Touch / DMA Trading, Market Making, Smart order routing, Program Trading, Order and Execution Management systems * Understanding of Equity Cash Trading Regulatory Requirement (CAT, FINRA Blue sheets, RegNMS, ACT) is desired * Technical Working Knowledge: SQL proficiency to extract /analyze large sets of data, FIX Protocol basics, Flow charts / Visualization tools * Strong analytical skills to ensure successful generation of specifications that ensure that decisions and solutions are effective in addressing underlying problem and meeting defined objectives. * Good at problem solving, self-motivated and quick learner.
