Procurement Technology Solutions – Subject Matter Expert (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You Will Make in this Role:

• As the Procurement Technology Solutions – Subject Matter Expert, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Being an expert in Procurement technology – direct and indirect procurement and accounts payable, invoice processing, supplier performance management and requisitions.
• Contributing and leading the deployment of ERP technology and other IT solutions across Source-to-Pay processes, specifically Direct procurement and Accounts Payable.
• Provide support to stakeholders regarding Source-to-Pay inquiries e.g. invoices, purchase orders, payments, etc.
• Collaborate with other technical resources to ensure ERP is operating optimally; monitors potential issues and offers solutions with minimal down-time impact to operations.
• Support the TSA exit to future state Healthcare platforms that provide the next level of service and capability for healthcare customers, vendors, and employees.
• Participate in multiple IT teams that support and deploy key capabilities across procurement processes.
• Working in and across multiple teams in a high-pressure and high-visibility environment to ensure successful procurement process operations for the Healthcare organization.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
• High School Diploma / GED (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the procurement processes and IT Solutions
• Seven (7) years of experience in procurement processes (direct / indirect sourcing, supplier management, payables) and its supporting IT Solutions in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work through ambiguity in a highly visible and high-pressure environment.
• Excel in effectively communicating across multiple levels of the organization.
• ERP deployment and ERP process knowledge in the procurement space.
• Knowledge in industry-standard procurement solutions such as S/4 HANA, Ariba is preferred.
• Robust background in modern technical processes and methodologies.
• Expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P) technology, Direct procurement, accounts payable, invoice processing, and requisitions.
• Direct procurement and Accounts payables technology experience in Health Care preferred.
