Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Developing political content for social media (e.g., writing concise and informative tweets for the official platforms)
- Identifying emerging trends and patterns in political news coverage
- Selecting and curating political news stories that are of particular relevance to our organization and stakeholders
- Assisting the social media team in developing content for political campaigns and leaders’ press conferences
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the target audience’s attention
- Contributing to the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum experience of 1-6 months in the content team of a news publication’s digital news section or for a political PR company
- Candidates with coursework or specialization in journalism, marketing, English/Hindi, political science, or a related field are preferred
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience
- Proficiency in English (spoken & writing) and in Hindi (spoken & writing)
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English or Hindi
- Proficiency to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively
- Effective communication skills
Timings (Work from Office): 10 AM – 6 PM
