However, the difference in the average age of politicians as compared to citizens is staggering and the time has come for India’s youth to engage in the political process. Unfortunately, Indian politics is at a juncture where ordinary citizens have no access to enter into politics or participate in the electoral process until they belong to a political family.
With the Aam Aadmi Party’s arrival in 2012, a large number of India’s youth took the plunge and joined politics for the first time, shaking the entire political nexus.

About The Internship
We are looking for freshers and entry-level professionals (ideally in journalism, mass communication, political science, and related fields in humanities) who want an insider’s lens on how state governments function and communicate – both internally and externally.
The communications and research team manages the leader’s communications and operations. The work involves political research, managing social media handles, relationships with mainstream media, content creation (video/graphic/text), and organizing events to support the objectives across all departments.
Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Managing social media platforms and media research
- Working on content writing – Hindi and English
- Working on graphic design
- Working on basic data analytics for platforms (on MS Office)
