Full Job Description
Job purpose

As a Specialist System Administration, you will be responsible supervising the Operations team, monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware

What will you do?

Managing BAU operations, handling escalations, and troubleshooting complex issues
Mentor and guide the new team members
New initiatives and Project management
Ensuring process compliance, high availability and SLA management
Supporting & ensuring high availability for Windows servers, VMware, Firewall, WAF & LAN/WAN networks
Maintaining asset for the infrastructure, License compliance & Reporting
Facing Internal, external audits and ensuring compliance
DR setups, DR drills, Backup & recovery of Windows OS, VMware, Firewall & Network devices
Management of the patches, version upgrades, security hardening for servers and all other network devices listed above
Ensuring pro-active monitoring and management of network, windows & VMware infrastructure
Supporting the AWS cloud infrastructure setup
Vendor coordination

What do you need to know?

Experience working in Windows & VMware technologies (ESXi Hypervisor)
Experience in Windows server management, DHCP, ADC, DNS, WSUS
Basic experience in Cisco L3 core switches and Cisco routers
Some knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls
Basic understanding of Cisco DNAC, ISE & WAPs
Ability to learn quickly and implement new technologies in a rapid, demanding, and changing environment
Knowledge of systems architecture / standards, network operations, security, and large software rollout
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree (in computer science or engineering or a related subject)
Any certification in Microsoft Windows server management
