Job Description
This is a remote position.

Bright young mind with analytical skills, self motivator and great team player
Tasks and responsibilities
- Preparation of P&L and balance sheet ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Balance sheet finalization and preparation of recs .
- Preparation of financial statements including profit and loss account, balance sheet, cash flow statement, statement of financial position.
- Procedure for finalizing books of accounts includes checking the authenticity of the transaction from the bank along with its supporting invoice or the receipts and passing of end of year journals.
- Prepare and lodge of Business Activity Statement (BAS) and GST reconciliation.
- Preparation of fringe Benefits Tax return
- Monitor accounting software Xero for Internal Control evaluation
Requirements
Skills and Experience
- Skilled Accountant With a Minimum of 5 years Experience
- Xero experience would be advantageous
- Proactive work ethic
- Analytical skills with excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to continued improvement
- High level of attention to detail
