Job Description

Development Engineer: Most companies will be able to match to a specific development engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

Architecting cost-efficient, high-performance Filter architectures for high end 4G/5G radios
Deriving Filter requirement specifications from the system requirements
Performance simulations using tools ADS/HFSS etc
Design of Low power as well as high power filters/duplexers based on different technologies (Ceramic/Cavity/Waveguide/Transmission Line)
Ensuring RF filter design and implementation meets the radio conformance requirements
Ensuring excellent manufacturability
Drive and perform HW verification to secure performance and quality
Drive state of the art Technology and Design-to-Cost innovation and execution of the Radio HW
Co-operate with colleagues across Mavenirs HW development Sites in design tools and lab test systems selections and development
Participate in supplier and component selections to secure the best in class performance, quality, and cost.
Ensure production build support for the manufacturing partners for prototypes and volume ramp-up
Convert customer requirements and expectations to best in class design innovation
Actively following-up filter technologies to apply the latest innovations into the designs.
Provide guidance and leadership

Job Requirements

Proven track record from Filter design engineering for 4G and 5G basestations
Solid knowledge on radio systems and mobile networks, especially on 3GPP and FCC LTE 4G and 5G standards in RAN and the interface between the radio network and core network.
In-depth knowledge of RF technologies and especially on Filters
Solid knowledge of RF Filter design tools (ADS , HFSS) and methods
Hands-on knowledge on Filter testing and verification
Hands on experience on equipments like Network Analyser,Spectrum Analyzer,Signal Generator etc.
Hands-on experience on design and development of Cavity filter,Waveguide filter,Ceramic filter,Transmission line filters (High pass,Low pass,Band pass,Notch filter response)
Solid knowledge of reliability analysis and testing
Solid knowledge of cost-efficient manufacturing methodologies and technologies
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Curious minded person striving for continuous learning and innovation
Excellent presentation skills for a variety of audiences including executives, partners, and customers
Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and concepts
MS Degree in EE, Computer or Mechanical Engineering
At least 10 years experience in the telecommunication industry in leading of or working in Radio development roles.
BS/BE Degree in EE/EC, Diploma in EE/EC or equivalent experience
At least 7 years’ experience.
Education: Any Graduate
