POSITION (JOB) DESCRIPTION
General Information
Position / Role: Officer / Senior Executive – F&A
Location: Dahej
Grade/ Level:
Reporting To: Site Head – F&A
Business Function: Cement / Dahej
Reporting To (Functional): NA
Role Purpose
Responsible for handling the DCC operations at site, supporting site head F&A for accounting activities
Key Responsibilities
- Handling DCC (Document Control Centre) operations at the site covering invoice receipt, first cut checking of the invoices, follow up with users for validation, scanning the invoices in SAP, ensuring safe custody of hard copy of invoices and interacting with central DCC
- Vendor management: Scrutiny of the vendor balances, follow up with vendors for GST return filing, sharing payment advices, interacting with the vendor for resolution of reconciliation issues
- Prepare Trial balance & General Ledger and ensure rectifications for any deviations
- Preparation of expense and income provisions and follow up with stakeholders for clearing old provisions
- MIS preparation: Review of open PR/ PO/ GRIR and highlighting to site F&A for needful steps
- Prepare Inventory ageing report after ensuring closing of GRNs and consumptions entries and circulate to all users
- Follow-up and coordinate with stakeholders for consumption bookings of stores and spares. Ensure physical verification of stores and spares. identify Idle inventories and process for disposal
- Get assets details updated in SAP. Conduct physical verification of assets. Identify Idle fixed assets and take action to disposal
Key Requirement: Good communication skills, documentation handling and SAP working knowledge
