Job Objective

Create and maintain HR Technology Architecture and overall framework to support, plan and rollout HR Technology Roadmap created in alignment with HR Vision. Oversee the rollout of various technology initiatives and projects along with Business & IT stakeholders and manage technical challenges in ensuring its effective usage for value extraction. Develop and facilitate relationship building with System Implementation partners and product venders

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

• Engage with HRC / GCHRO to define HR Technology Roadmap and yearly priorities
• Designing the strategic technology initiatives aligned to the Group and HR annual priorities
• To assist in defining HR Digitalisation Approach, Strategy and Roadmap as one of the priorities for HR function and overall group focus areas.
• To contribute to defining transformation agenda including process redefinition, and automation and technology enablement in HR subfunctions like TA, L&D, C&B
• To drive execution of the HR Digitalisation interventions by helping define overall HR Technology Architecture, Cloud strategy and Products portfolio, and application/system interfaces, focused at enhancing employee experience, operational efficiency and better quality of decision making, while managing peculiar and diverse business HR needs.
• Create and maintain a scalable HR Technology Architecture to allow making decentralized management decision in alignment with group guidelines and policies
• Engage with the business HR team to understand their technology requirements and establish suitable action plan as per the HRT SOP
• Analyze the performance of the current technology and provide recommendations (introduction of new technology, upgradation of existing technology etc.) to the Head Technology and Analytics
• Develop standard framework and integration strategy for managing HR technology and IT Architecture for acquired / merged entities

HR Technology

Research & Innovation

• Stay abreast with the new trends, latest technologies, new and advanced automation systems and applications to continually improve the HR technological infrastructure at Adani
• Adapt the latest HR technological trends to Adani context to build a better integrated, innovative and more efficient technology ecosystem
• Develop the HR Technology Implementation SOP for the group in collaboration with the BU HR & Group Corporate IT Services
• Organize HRT awareness sessions for HRC on latest trends

Technological Interventions

• Identify areas within HR that can be potentially automated or enhanced with technology
• Collaborate with the relevant partners in corporate IT to design the solution for upgradation along with SI partners
• Evaluating and providing used cases for the pilot technology implementations
• Support in designing the HR Technology Roadmap and ensure smooth execution of upgradation/automation initiatives as per the HRT SOP
• Undertake HR Applications Portfolio Health assessment and ensure

regular updates, enhancements, and replacements Govern the System Implementation and Application Life Cycle Management with AMS partner involved in delivery of HR IT services to the group including optimising licencing needs of the group

• Help create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for IT enablement for all functions of HR and participate in change control board to provide approvals
• Specifically look at Use-cases in associated industries and suggest ways

of extracting maximum value out of rolled-out products by utilising native functionalities

• Select niche products and new solutions for specific problems in line with overall technology architecture and oversee program management of its implementation

HR Management System

• Drive & improve the usage of features and functionality of technological tools in HRMS across the group
• Setting and monitoring the governance structure for HR Technology projects across BU
• Monitor the implementation and usage of ERP solutions in HR department for improving efficiency
• Monitor the roll-out of HRMS and integration for all new and acquired entities as part of M&A
• To help define the skill / competencies required within the group and

assist in building the same

• To work with System Implementation and AMS partners to ensure

smooth execution of technology programs and coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide required inputs.

Partner Selection & Engagement

• Scoping of each project in collaboration with the Group/BU HR
• Technical evaluation of system solutions
• Lessons learnt from the previous engagements
• Prepare the Request for Information (RFI) document to be circulated to potential partners
• Evaluate quotes, shortlist, and submit proposals to the Head Technology & Analytics for finalizing along with Corporate IT
• Collaborate with Techno-Commercial for the contracting processes to get the select partner on board
• Track partner performance and conduct timely reviews to ensure quality, timelines and budgetary considerations; Escalate instances of non-performances
• Transition to HRSSC / Run Team post implementation of the system
• Cultivate strategic relationships with partners and effectively leverage them for value additions to Adani
• Oversee the existing vender contracts and facilitate approval of

milestones and payments to venders

Job Profile

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years working in the Technology vertical in at least two units/ organizations.
• Experience in a similar conglomerate business/ industry as Adani, is necessarily required (Ports/ Power/ Resources) or experience in industries like FMCG, Financial Services, Telecom
• Experience with designing technology and analytics strategies and measurement framework
• Hands-on experience with designing and executing medium/ large-scale automation projects
• Hands on experience with varied HR software and data management systems
• Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders – internal as well as external
• Preferable to have worked in an organization with diversified business
