Job Purpose : Lead engineering tracks Market place and Logistics applications for all business of ABFRL for timely delivery, manage and maintain the home grown stack while keeping abreast to latest technological advancements which help business functions to work better in digital world. Job Details:

• As an engineering lead S/he will take and have full ownership of the open source stack/products which is/are built in-house. S/he will play an advocate role between product and business teams by providing right solution and keeping the architecture common across the business by rolling out the common features across.
• S/he will help the organisation by evaluating ready-made solutions/tools which caters to the business needs, if no solutions/tools exist, create a product line to cater the business, keeping a long term futuristic impact.
• Manage multiple simultaneous/spontaneous programs/projects/products across the business in ABFRL, In parallel build roadmap for home grown stack to match with technological advancements.
• Evaluate 3rd parties for getting best resources

S/he will be interacting with various roles within the organization as S/he r day to day activities and hence, S/he should be able to make relevant conversations teams from warehouse, finance, business

• owners, logistics and order management operations, Catalog operations, development teams, Trade team and CXOs at ABFRL. The roles which will interact with will be from executives to CXO level and hence, stakeholder management is a big and crucial aspect of this Role which will have impacts the success of product plans.
• Integration with 3rd Parties like Vendors, Marketplaces, Logistics Partners, and Catalog vendors will be frequent. S/he should be able to access 3rd party Tech and align tech and process which is best for the customer, keeping both ABFRL and 3rd Party’s business interests and operational challenges in mind.
• ABFRL has built technologies for retail over time. The older technologies are not always aligned to changes. S/he should be able to build the best processes and tech integration keeping the shortfalls of legacy systems in mind.
• S/he will be seen as subject matter expert and hence S/he will actively provide S/he r inputs to the business and operations team.
• S/he will be a leader with excellent interpersonal skills. S/he should be able to gain confidence of both the technical and business teams alike.

Performance, uptime and security of the products
Making sure that all products are operating with high performance and securing them from vulnerabilities with 99.99% uptime

Quality of delivery
Performing Code Audits for improving the quality in delivery, 95% of issues to be addressed in unit test before handing over to SIT/QA

Documentation
Right documentation practices for better maintenance in code, preparing architecture and training materials which will help new resource to be on-boarded quickly

Product management and tracking
Planning roadmap for the products along with constant tracking of issues which occurs across the business for better solutioning

Qualifications:

Any Graduate
Minimum Experience Level:
6-9 Years
