• Principal Accountabilities

Supporting Actions

Conducting regular meetings with Key group of workmen to address issues affecting overall effectiveness of the company. Networking the key workmen.

• Meeting coordination with unions – Union meetings as per schedule
• Follow up and make sure that issues resolved in time – On time resolution
• Maintain the flow of communications- communications made as per timeline

Prodctivity Incentive plan

Strategic planning/Negotiations on QIP with unions

• Calculation and submitting the same to payroll team
• Information generation and data preparation on the matter – Timelines

Addressing Departmental issues

Coordination with FH and DH to generate the flow of information on issues

• Organizing/coordinating/consultation with DH and FH on the matter – FH/DH feedback on coordination

Statutory compliances

Through timely submission of all returns within the time frame as per the provision, we conduct periodic internal audits to identified the gaps

• Attending the inspection of govt authroties under the labour laws – no liabilities / major NC

Disciplinary action

counselling, issuance of notices under the model standing orders, conducting domestic enquiries

• Generating the data and preparing the worksheet of chronic absenteeism.
• Preparing show cause, chargesheet and punishment letters.
• Effective role of representing officer in domestic enquiries
• Organizing domestic enquiries.

Implementation of Welfare initiatives and activities

Canteen administration, Release the benefits under various welfare schemes, organize the employee engagement activities

• Budget preparation and upgradation of the welfare policies and implementation of applicable welfare activities in consultation with DH

Satisfaction Survey

To conduct periodic survey on workmen satisfaction and to execute the outcome of the survey

• Administration of survey team for conducting the survey
• Analysis of the data and submitting the report to DH for preparing and discussing the action plan in the areas of score improvement

Grievance Handling

• Disposal of day-to-day minor and major grievances in reference to wages, overtime & leave, etc.

Worker Training

Coordinate & implement learning & developmental plans for continual

skill updation & upgradation of capabilities of workmen in line with changing business scenario

• Identifying the training needs in consultation with HOD’s in plant.
• Preparing the training calendar
• Arranging the faculty and organizing the sessions.
• Training evaluation and effectiveness
• Co-ordinating with Gujarat Welfare Board for workshop on quality of life.
