Job Description:
The candidate should have Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying (in Coal only)
Monitoring Field Survey-a) Monitor to manage the related resources accordingly for field work.
b) Supervise to reconnaissance of area, location, purpose, method etc.
c) Check the condition of equipment and finalized base point.
d) Follow the precise method as per mine survey rule.
e) Modern surveying concept with 3 dimensional systems.
f) Special care about demarcation & record of field data.
g) Ensuring smooth operation of survey and planning section.
Finalizing the Plotting and Generation of Plans and Sections-a) Checking of the Downloaded raw data from T. S to Computer File.
b) Do the necessary editing and apply the corrections.
c) Prepare the master data and plot it accordingly.
d) Create and finalizing a Plan /part of plan / superimpose over old plan under guidance of FH – Operation.
e) Do needful rectification to up to date it accordingly.
f) Cut & create the sections as per statutory requirement plan cross-sectional / longitudinal or vice versa.
Checking and finalizing survey data Calculation-a) Smooth transfer of existing manual volume calculation Surpac software based volume calculation.
a) Statutory calculation method for data to do accurate plotting.
b) Micro level calculations to minimize the error in result obtained.
c) Apply correct & standard formulae to avoid figure mismatch.
d) Calculation of Area, Volume, Tonnage etc by suitable method.
e) Ascertain that all calculative measure is correlated with Linear, Angular and Vertical control compared to field, Plan & section.
f) Ascertain the quality of calculative measured figure out-put.
g) Ensuring systematic data recording and technical development of survey and planning section.
h) Digitized mines planning through Surpac.
Coordination between Client and Contractor-
a) Ensure smooth coordination with survey department of ECL.
b) Ensure smooth hand over and takeover of area with ECL and AMPL.
c) Ensure correct volume transfer from ECL & the same with AMPL.
d) Assure joint monthly survey & its volume Calculation.
e) To take out needful data, plans and sections from Client.
f) To arrange joint survey program as per requirement.
g) Certification of In-situ-Measurements & its documents.
h) Joint Lead Measurement in presence of representative.
i) Clear all disputes by re-survey, re-check or re-calculation.
e) Ensuring timely volume data receiving from ECL.
f) Ensuring timely lead wise quantity distribution of certificate issue to AMPL.
g) Liaison with stakeholders like Principal Employers and vendors.
Planning Monitoring and Finalization of Billing-a) Create & Provide inputs as requirement of Planning Dept.
b) Complete involvement in planning to ensure implementation at field.
c) Share & take the Idea about cost control work environment.
d) To make Regular coordination between HOD and Team.
e) Responsible to achieve and provide the work done quantity certificate with detailed data and its authenticity.
f) Check the claimed quantity & lead etc of contractor’s bill for finalization.
Internal Coordination-a) Ensure acclimatization of all employees of survey department with the advanced software based system.
b) Support RCML management in planning and excavation scheduling.
c) Updating and maintaining MIS.
Monitoring slope stability-a) Conduct periodic survey by monitoring slope stability
Lead & Lift- To take care of lead & lift for minimizing cost.
