SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the Oracle EPM Cloud environments including all applicable system and application touch points. This position will support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting processes and will work directly with all business groups that utilize the Financial Planning and profitability applications. Techno-functional knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Hyperion ESSBASE, and Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) is essential. Knowledge of Consolidation and Close (FCCS/HFM) is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain PBCS and FCCS applications across all active environments (Dev, Test and Prod)

Strong knowledge of Essbase concepts and hands on experience in maintaining and optimization of BSO/ASO cubes

Strong knowledge in creating Business Rules/MDX queries and working on Data management

Experience with EPM automate and batch to automate the Jobs

Manage inbound and outbound data interfaces to maintain data integrity of data being extracted and uploaded into PBCS application

Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, financial planning/budgeting and external and management reporting processes

Perform daily and monthly maintenance of applications including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes

Maintain key processes used to support the planning/forecasting and reporting for the business

Document current processes and controls, new system requirements and the creation of applicable testing scenarios for enhancements and system updates

Support global, ongoing user training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities delivered and how they are expected to perform their roles

Manage integrations and perform validations from source systems and ensure data flows downstream as required for EPM applications.

Enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the systems, department and Company

Troubleshoot end user issues and training for end users

Ability to cross train in Other Oracle EPM modules

Any scripting language experience is a plus

Technical Qualifications

Proven experience and knowledge of working with financial planning and reporting applications on Hyperion EPM platform (PBCS, ESSBASE, Capital Planning/Workforce Planning using Hyperion Planning or EPBCS modules)

Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools/technologies is a plus

Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and impact to reporting systems is a plus

Ability to define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience of working with teams across globe, multi-cultural is preferred

Attention to quality, reconciliation, and accuracy are critical as the audience is often executive level staff and the decisions being made are significant in scope/impact

Creativity and vision to recommend ways to evolve our infrastructure, process, and analytic capabilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related required (Masters in Analytics, Business, or Mathematics a plus) and

Minimum of 3 years of experience in PBCS/Hyperion Planning/EPBCS/Essbase

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
