SUMMARY :
The Risk Coordinator supports the Risk Services Department by performing essential tasks that support and assist risk management. This position processes and reconciles electronic payments for claim, insurance, vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Submit all invoices for payment and approval through the Accounting department
Compile information and submit workers compensation self-insurance annual reports
Enter expense reports for directors and managers
Maintain certificates of insurance and respond to requests
Maintain auto ID cards
Handle FR10s
Continuously update in house resources
Research new sources of information to improve efficiency
Perform other projects as necessary or as business needs change
Use established formats and procedures, enter data and provide administrative support to the Risk Management team as directed
Request checks from the Accounting department and record incoming checks for deposit by Accounting
Assist with insurance renewal processes and track requests to other functions / departments
Send outgoing mail and correspondence as directed by the Risk Team
Set up meetings, reserve and prepare meeting rooms
Schedule conference calls for managers and directors.

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative teamoriented environment; able to meet deadlines while making priority adjustments as needed.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a multitude of business partners, internally and externally.
Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and PeopleSoft Applications
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, basis points
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree preferred
