Agilo Research Hiring for Accountant [ZOHO] at Ahmedabad Full Time

Job Summary

A young and qualified accountant is required, for a startup dealing in electronics and educational resources, to maintain and record all financial transactions involving the Company, handle book keeping, managing billing and payments related to domestic transactions/ import/ export, analyzing financial performance of the company, preparing financial reports and handling all other related tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Documents financial transactions by entering account information including invoicing, credit management, accounts clearing and collection.

• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

• Assists in managing inventory, logistics including international and domestic shipments.Secures financial information by completing data base backups.

• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

• Documents and completes monthly taxation (GST etc.) requirements.

• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

• Complies with national, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

• Has in-depth knowledge of all accounting procedures, GAAP, financial terminology and other related concepts.

• Has experience of using ZOHO Books.

• In-depth knowledge of taxation norms related to GST, imports, exports, etc.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with inventory management and supply chain is plus.

• Accounting experience with start-ups or giants preferred.

Qualification:

Graduate/ Diploma or any other equivalent qualification preferable related to accounting, commerce, etc.

Benefits

• Basic Salary: ₹1,50,000.00 to ₹2,25,000.00 /year

• CTC: ₹2,00,000 to ₹3,00,000 /year

• Incentives and bonuses: Performance based incentives on individual and Company performance, extra tasks assigned, etc. shall be paid additionally, while bonuses are solely depended on the discretion of Board of Directors.
