AIM for Seva Hiring for Marketing Manager at Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu Full Time
The All India Movement for Seva is a registered charitable trust that enables the education of rural children by surmounting one of the primary obstacles to rural education: access. AIM for Seva’s mission is to reach education to every child across the nation through the concept of the Free Student Home (FSH).
Located near an existing school, an FSH provides children with spacious accommodation, nutritious food, after-school support, extra-curricular activities, values and life skills, along with a nurturing environment conducive to education.
Started in 2000 by Swami Dayananda Saraswati, AIM for Seva’s network now runs more than100 FSH across 16 states of India. AIM for Seva has initiated a number of innovative programmes for the benefit of the children at the FSH:
Art for Development for artistic expression on topics of societal significance

More than 35,000 students have been benefited by this novel education project, and at any given time there are about 6500 students in the system. AIM for Seva students have excelled in academics with an impressive 95% pass rate in board exams in the last 4 years since 2008-09, when the first batch of students appeared for their board exams.
Our impressive list of alumni also indicates that children become more confident and better equipped to contribute more actively to their community and in nation building, through this process of all-round development.
The vision for the future is clear: Vision 2020”, to set up 200 more FSH in some of the country’s most backward regions at an investment of Rs. 175 crores. A challenging goal, but one that has to be realized so that every socially and educationally disadvantaged child can realize their dream of a prosperous future.

Job Description:
Job Objectives: Oversee marketing lead generation (include but are not limited to, the following)
A) To research demand for our products and services and identify new business opportunities.
B) To design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and programmes to create awareness of the organisations products and direct promotional support.
C) To develop brand strategy, sales forecasting and product branding plans.
D) Perform industry and competitive analysis to inform the sales process and help positioning and messaging
E) To plan and execute campaigns for corporate & retail promotion, launching of new product lines etc.
F) To identify and connect with restaurants / food product developers / culinary chefs to attempt multifarious dishes using heritage rice varieties.
G) To connect with food bloggers for affiliate marketing
H) To connect and open avenues with F&B and Cloud kitchen sectors

We are an NGO called AIM for Seva, and one of our projects (Spirit of the Earth) is the conservation and cultivation of heritage rice varieties.
