Airbus Hiring for Electrical Wiring Process Methods and Tools Automation at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

Main responsibilities : Develop robust software algorithms to automatically recognize and understand Aircraft electrical wiring drawings. The developed algorithms should be able to recognize the minor variations in the representation of electrical components. The algorithm should be further able to recognize the electrical equipment and their functional information and understand the connection between the equipment. The task requires robust understanding and working knowledge of various image recognition techniques including neural networks and also strong programming skills.

The algorithms thus developed are further used to compare the differences in electrical drawings between inhouse and customer databases so the inhouse database can be updated in alignment with the customer database.

Main activities :
Following Tasks are involved in performing the job.

Develop understanding of Aircraft electrical drawings

Create a training database of electrical drawings (from an existing database) with varied representation of the basic electrical components and electrical equipment.

Develop robust Artificial Intelligence based models to automatically identify the various electrical components in foolproof manner.

Develop robust Artificial Intelligence based models to automatically identify the various electrical equipments and their functional representations in a foolproof manner.

Develop rule based/AI based algorithms to automatically understand the connections between electrical equipment.

Skills :
Technical skills:
Must Have

Computer Science Engineering degree with basic electrical knowledge and good software knowledge

Very good programming, software development skills (python preferred)

Robust understanding and working knowledge of image recognition techniques, OCR Applications

Supervised learning techniques using Neural Networks

Soft skills:
Team spirit is a must, Agile, adaptable, is challenging the status-quo;

Open mindset, think out of the box;

Specialization/Stream : Computer Science engineering specialization with ability to understand basic electrical drawings and very good knowledge and working skills in software development and AI/ML based image recognition techniques. Exposure to Generative AI can be an added advantage.
