Consultants at AKIRA are responsible for owning up problems and supporting the team by building, implementing and supporting end-to-end solutions. We let you talk directly to the client stakeholders so there is all the learning to grab and grow. We empower our teams to ask questions and bring their points of view to design, model and execute data models to support end users in analytics and reporting-based solutions. Clarity and exposure in designing ETL functions as well as building data pipelines between on-premise or cloud applications or varied data sources is a good-to-have.Roles and Responsibilities Must have good understanding of DDL, DML concepts, also exposure to the latest cloud technology like AWS, AZURE is preferred but not mandatory Should be very good in SQL (not just joins!) Address user requirements, identify root cause analysis, debug and solve problems under uncompromising timelines and with limited supervision as well as inquisitive attitude Interact with users to understand requirements, create written communication materials to summarize need and addressing issues Gathering requirements and creating estimates with defined sub-tasks, keep iterating and questioning the status quo Hands on experience in handling different types of files types like CSV, Parquet, JSON but not limited to it Iteratively test, refine and improve the scripts and models they build or learn from Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutions in the existing technology stack or complementary ones Understanding of data models using Star and Snowflake schema and performing ETL or ELT operationsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
