Allbound is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Director of UX to help Allbound create an industry leading user experience. You will work closely with our customers and team members from every department to help create an all new experience for the Allbound platform. If leading a team to find innovative solutions to complex problems gets your heart racing then you might be the individual we are looking for!

Primary Responsibilities

• Be a strategic UX partner to key stakeholders, helping to shape their short and long-term vision

• Partner fully with PM’s, designers, dev and QA teams to scope, plan and execute UX solutions.

• Facilitate collaborative design thinking workshops & problem-solving within the teams

• Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for the UX team within the organization.

• Providing tactical solutions on highly sensitive and critical issues and close them with other stakeholders such as business, product owners, dev teams.

• High sense of urgency to solve problems and in executing them with extreme ownership.

• Expert in the understanding of UX process and execution to provide solutions.

• Attitude to enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment.

  Required Experience

• Minimum 8 years of UX work experience with at least 3+ years in leading teams.

• Experience leading and directing cross-functional and multi-geographic teams

• Strong understanding of User-Centered Design Process, Design Principles & Systems, content, and data management.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and design and define programs with little or no information

• Ability to create and sustain a sense of urgency.

• Proven track record influencing product direction and strategy with actionable insights

• Ability to plan, design, execute and communicate both strategic and tactical research engagements

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates research expertise

• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

• Leadership- proven ability to inspire and motivate others toward measurable objectives.

• Must possess a personal presence characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the organization’s philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and operating imperatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate design and articulate decisions clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

• Past experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage
