Amec Foster Wheeler Hiring for Senior Designer – Architecture at Kolkata, India Full Time

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Designer – Architecture with extensive experience in the relevant field.

• Specialist Designer in Architectural Detailing of Industrial Architectural works

• Must have worked in AutoCAD / Microstation 2D Drafting

• Preference would be given who has worked in any Architectural 3D software in 3D Modelling

• Experience in at least one Oil & Gas, Mining or any industrial project will be preferred

• Must have sound technical knowledge in Architectural detailing

• Responsible to work independently both Technically and using software on the assigned Architectural works

• Drafting as per inputs & checking of General Arrangement & Detail Drawings of Architectural works

• Report to Lead Civil Engineer and Coordinate with other disciplines in the project

• Meeting the project schedules on submissions of Architectural deliverables

• Ensuring all deliverables are comply with quality as per AFWIPL / Client specifications & standards

• Interpretation of vendor drawings / other discipline drawings for Architectural deliverables requirements

• Qualification: Diploma in Architecture

• Years of experience:10 -15 years

• Must have exposure to detailing of any one in each of following group of buildings:

• Control room Building ,Substation buildings

• Admin Block, Canteen

• Ware House, Workshop. Compressor Shed,Pump Houses

• Fire station

• Security House,Security Tower,Parking Shed

• Experience in production of deliverables such as General arrangement & detail drawings for Architectural works including fixtures, fitting, painting, flooring schedules

• Working experience in using Building codes of India and any one of British or American standards for Architectural works including green building concept is added advantage

• Working experience in Pharmacuetical / Clean room applications is added advantage

• Able to communicate in good English with other disciplines in effective manner

• Willing to have patience to face work pressure & changes

• Must be able to work in a team with work share basis
