American Bureau of Shipping Hiring for Lead Technical Developer, Product(UI) at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

The Delivery Lead will be responsible to plan and execute multiple small to medium size projects. The position will work with development & QA team members, product managers / SMEs, technical leads/architects to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects(s). This will involve estimating, planning, keeping track of the milestones, making sure that the team is heading in the right direction, assisting them to solve problems and facilitating the right tools/help to them to build effective software. The individual should be able balance their time between project / people management and also into specific technical areas where the team may need guidance.

What You Will Do:

• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of the project(s)
• Work with Project / Delivery managers to understand / chalk out individual project plans and resource estimates.
• Run regular sprints and daily stand ups to keep track of the overall progress and any risks.
• Work daily with development & QA teams to carry out delivery with high quality and within given timeframes.
• Active participation in design, development, and testing activities and provide valuable inputs on the same.
• Provide technical guidance on their own or make sure it is available to the team whenever needed.
• Should get well versed with the business functionality that is getting built.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant technical experience and knowledge.
• BCA, BE/ B Tech (CS), M Tech (CS), MCA or equivalent degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Well versed in Project planning, Estimation, Project Tracking and Reporting
• Well versed in Requirements Gathering, System Analysis and Design
• Must have good programming language and scripting skills.
• Well versed in AGILE SCRUM knowledge and Non-Functional requirement
• Very solid design and coding skills used in individual contribution and code reviews of other team members.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Experience and knowledge of various SDLC methodology
• Expert in HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript and CSS
• In-depth of knowledge of frameworks like React JS, Redux, jQuery.
• UI toolkits like Kendo UI, Infragistics, JQuery UI
• Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Reporting Relationships:

Will report to a Manager technical delivery and has no direct reports.

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
