Functional Description:
Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions team within the Enterprise Services Group is a dynamic environment of digital product and analytics professionals that drive significant value for American Express through innovative solutions.
This is a great opportunity within EDDS – Digital Experimentation & Insights in India to lead a team of talented professionals that drives acquisition growth and revenue, and premium differentiated experiences based on customer needs via performing Digital Analytics and Experimentation, optimizing and innovating digital user experiences, and building strong partnerships with Product, Marketing, Servicing and Technology. Digital Experimentation & Insights team (DE&I) enables the world’s best digital experiences for acquisition, onboarding & servicing through analytics & experimentation. It supports key digital products (Homepage, Card Shop, MGM, Apply, Onboarding, MYCA: Web & App, Push channels) across Global Consumer, Global Commercial and Digital Servicing business units.
This role will report to the VP of Digital Experimentation & Insights for Acquisition Experiences. The role requires a strong analytical and experimentation focus and the successful candidate is expected to exhibit expertise in understanding and delivering strong acquisition outcomes, and drawing meaningful insights and guiding strategy through analytics, experimentation and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Provide thoughtful leadership, vision and direction to the team and key stakeholders. Lead projects/work streams to derive and action winning insights for Acquisition Experiences that optimize acquisition outcomes and drive excellent customer experience
Lead Experimentation Center of Excellence for DE&I with the goals to standardize test processes and best practices, drive culture of experimentation, increase experimentation efficiency and practical applications and value add of experimentation algorithms and techniques
Build analytics and data capabilities, engage in ad hoc analytical and strategic projects that help do our work more effectively and at scale
Maintain strong linkages with other Analytics teams within DE&I
Create positive and productive team environment. Effectively teach, coach, and develop team members, as appropriate
Qualifications
Drive to change the status quo and create innovative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills with ability to tackle unstructured and complex business problems
Significant experience in experimentation and deep analytics
Strong skills in data management with knowledge of SQL/Hive, Python
