Manager – Vendor Management PAN India

Aqgromalin is a tech driven farm diversification platform enabling farmers to diversify into Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture. We work both on the upstream and downstream of the farm gate through a full stack tech solution. Farmers can order high quality inputs via our app AQAI and get it delivered to their farmgate. Post-harvest, our downstream trading platform enables farmers to exit the produce through our network of traders, retailers (butchershop and fish stalls), and exporters. We aim to organise the world’s protein supply, while enabling farmers to diversify their income sources. Designation: Manager – Vendor Management, PAN India
Base Location: Corporate office, Chennai (Should be open to travel extensively)

Key Responsibilities:

• Broad Scope:
  

o Lead Vendor Management Initiatives across Business functions
o Streamline Contract signing process – Audit, Sign Contracts with Transport vendors
o Identify customized solutions for transiting livestock to reduce in-transit shrinkage & Mortality
o Identify & Onboard Body builders, Transportation vendors into AQAI ecosystem
o Standardize Transport solutions across a range of Load & Product requirements across India
o Expand the range of Transport solutions & accommodate AQAI’s diverse customer requirements

• Data Driven:

o Shrinkage & Mortality analysis across Trips, Geographies and Business Units
o Champion the System of Auditing and Scoring Vendors (Devise KPIs,

• Market Research:

o Benchmark Best practices in Market & deploy most efficient transport solutions
o Track Supply chain Management Trends especially wrt Market place companies
o Be the ears and eyes of the company in observing latest market & customer-relevant
transport solutions

Requirements

Knowledge & Skill requirement

• Out of Box thinker, Analyst, Problem Solver, Team player and Excellent Communicator
• Start-up experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Qualification & Experience

• Exposure & passion towards Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Operations Research
• MBA preferred but not mandatory
• Work Experience: <5 years
• Multi lingual: English & Hindi
