Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Bundelkhand

Purpose:

The COO will oversee and manage all operations within the Bundelkhand region, ensuring the effective implementation of projects and businesses, while steering the organization towards achieving its long-term vision of sustainability and growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for all projects and business operations in Bundelkhand.
• Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
• Liaise with government bodies to foster partnerships and secure support for the organization’s initiatives.
• Lead the regional team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of ongoing projects, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets and financial planning for the region.
• Utilize business acumen to identify opportunities for expansion and sustainability.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the development sector.
• Proven track record of successful program and team management.
• Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
• Demonstrated experience in government liaising and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the Bundelkhand region or similar contexts.
• Strong network with local and regional stakeholders.
