Position: Head – Marketing & Communications for Asset Vertical

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned marketing and communications leader to drive the bank’s internal & external communication strategy, PR, and branding. The candidate must have strong experience in managing teams, executive communication (MD’s Office), media relations, and corporate branding within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communication & Branding:

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies to strengthen the bank’s brand.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms.

2. Internal & External Communications:

• Enhance internal communication to align employees with the bank’s goals.
• Manage external communication, including media relations, PR campaigns, and stakeholder messaging.

3. MD’s Office & Executive Communication:

• Handle high-level communication for the MD and leadership team.
• Prepare speeches, newsletters, reports, and investor/stakeholder communications.

4. Public Relations & Media Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with media, journalists, and industry leaders.
• Oversee crisis communication and reputation management.

5. Marketing & Digital Presence:

• Lead digital marketing initiatives, corporate branding, and thought leadership campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in communication materials.

6. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor the marketing & communications team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, CSR, and Investor Relations, for unified messaging.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 12-18 years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, or corporate affairs within the banking/financial services sector.
• Proven team management experience, leading and developing marketing & communication professionals.
• Strong expertise in internal & external communications, media relations, crisis management, and brand positioning.
• Experience handling MD-desk communication and senior leadership messaging.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience in digital marketing, corporate branding, and strategic PR.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing government & regulatory communications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic banking environment.
