Accounts Associate (Remote)

We are looking for an Accounts Associate who will work closely with the Senior Accountant. The primary goals are to record journal entries, prepare Operational and Quality statistical reports, upload exchange rates for multiple currencies in Peoplesoft, and communicate with staff on the intercompany differences within the region both on the balance sheet and the P&L statements to resolve the differences and assist with the input of data in the movement schedules in SAP BPC. You will also be responsible for preparing certain account reconciliations, as well as supporting upper management in various ad-hoc reporting.

As an Accounts Associate, you will

Prepare balance sheet reconciliation

Ensure accurate journal entries are processed monthly

Support the interim and year-end financial audits

Continuously work to streamline and automate the reconciliation process

Assist with the review of AP Vendor Maintenance

Continuously improve processes to minimize costs

Assist in coaching and mentoring junior staff accountants and specialists

About you

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field

Minimum of two years of experience in general accounting

Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required

Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Excel preferred

Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP preferred

Good knowledge of English
