Job Description Summary

The DevOps Lead supports IT leadership by planning and championing the execution of broad initiatives aimed at delivering value to internal and external stakeholders. This position leverages data, technical, and business knowledge to drive the development of technical frameworks and solutions at portfolio and enterprise levels. The DevOps Architect is involved throughout the project life cycle, with an emphasis on the initiation, feasibility, and analysis phases.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and recommend infrastructure technologies to meet business needs and priorities and align with enterprise strategies.

• Contribute to the development and adoption of infrastructure assets to increase productivity, improve customer service, and strengthen competitive advantage.

• Provide support for technical frameworks and patterns to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve availability and reliability for customers.

• Create reusable assets and frameworks that enable the adoption and usage of solution blueprints.

• Integrate core capabilities with new technology to successfully implement solution development projects and standards definitions.

• Participate in efforts to set technical direction and build capabilities in the engineering organization.

• Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches to ensure optimal performance and meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 6+ years of experience in network, server, and storage technologies, strategies, and best practices for implementation and operations.

• Understanding of Azure Cloud infrastructure.

• Strong business and process analysis skills, with the ability to think strategically for longer-term enterprise benefit.

• Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive work teams.

• Microsoft Certifications in the Azure Cloud and Security Space.

• Experience leading global implementation projects, including project planning and project management skills.

• Ability to be flexible in working hours and represent a global organization.

• Understanding of requirements and project KPIs.

• Experience with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure-as-code, and Configuration management tools.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Power Shell Scripting, Azure CLI Scripting, Terraform, Azure ARM, Ansible, Bicep, YAML, JSON Pipeline, and DevOps extension Knowledge.

• Experience with Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework principles.

• Understanding of containerization technology, such as AKS.

• Experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

Experience with database support, both SQL and Oracle
