• Role – Planning, scheduling of Raw Material. Coordination with HO Planners, Plant Materials Personnel, Production team and R&D / QC Team.
• RM Cost break up / Feed Stock analysis
• Tracking import data and analyse for onboarding new RM
• Efficient in Vendor management
• Cost savings initiative through alternate vendor development
• Working on non-moving/slow moving Raw material.
• Focus on expanding vendor base of single source raw materials.
• Strategic sourcing and negotiation for procurement of new products & onboarding new supplier
• Explore automation for RM sourcing
• Required Spent analysis and market analysis skill
• inventory planning optimization
• market commodity analysis
• Must have knowledge in bulk liquid transportation in tanker mode, Full Truck load & Part Truck load related to transportation
• Knowledge in export & import – Ocean freight negotiation, understanding shipping industry & knowhow on the subject including documentation and clearance process.

• Key Result Areas – Achieve cost saving target
• Single source vendor base expansion

Timely arrangement of raw material to plants at optimum price and Inventory control

Educational Qualification – MBA / PG in Materials management

• Experience – 5 to 10 years

Experience in working corporate Materials function in any chemical industry, preferably in Paints / Printing Ink / Coating industry
