Do the words self-driven, motivated, and team player describe you?If yes, then Orgeen is looking for you!About the PositionOpening: Jr. AgronomistLocation: LucknowExperience: 1+ YearsRemuneration: 15K- 20KMALE CANDIDATES PREFERRED We are looking to hire an agronomist for a client in the food production and farming domain. The shortlisted candidate shall be responsible for examining and researching problems concerning crop output and quality, and offer suitable crop management solutions. He shall also be expected to develop tailored agronomic approaches and oversee interventions on behalf of the company.Roles & Responsibilities: Developing better planting, cultivation and harvesting techniques, improving crop yields and solving other cultivation-related problems. Researching and promoting agricultural strategies to counter pest damage, andthe changes in soil quality and weather patterns. Regular collection and analysis of seed, plant, and soil samples collected fromthe farm. Testing samples for nutritional deficiencies, diseases, etc. Assisting with plant sourcing, testing and selection. Maintaining records concerning the farm, crops, and the collected samples. Compiling reports and tabling the findings before the management, clients andother interested parties. Conducting training sessions as when required concerning latest farmingtechniques and products. Managing the teams of scientists during field visits or laboratory sessions. Developing sowing and irrigation schedules, budgets, and timelines.Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel if and when needed. Capability to work outdoors in demanding weather conditions. Computer proficiency, MS Office and diagnostic scientific software included. Active listening and excellent communications, written and verbal. Strong research, decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Awareness of latest industry trends, practices, and technological advancements.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: INR15,000.00 – INR20,000.00 per monthSchedule:
