BHAGYALAKSHMIS KITCHEN Hiring for Accountant (Full time or Part time) at Chennai Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our renowned catering unit that has been operating since 2000 in Chennai (100 % high-class vegetarian south Indian kitchen). Close location is preferred

Job Descriptions / Responsibilities

• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Create and update expense reports
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
• Generate weekly, monthly, and Quarterly Balance sheets and help with the review and make suggestion for improvement
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits/ GST submission if required
• any other related task assigned by a Leadership team
• Senstive to account details / salary information and keep it highly confidential/professional

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
