BlackBerry is seeking a talented Test Automation Engineer with expertise in React and Javascript to implement, test, and maintain new and existing product features with an emphasis on tangible results. Working as a Test Automation Engineer, you will be integral part of our Multi Tenant Console (MTC) team! You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled developers who build secure quality software by embracing (and improving) standard methodologies in architecture, design, implementation, testing and prototyping. Your daily work will involve validating and developing automated tests for React-based frontend functionality with a strong emphasis on security, privacy, reliability and performance.

What we would like you to do for us:

• Design and develop high quality automated tests for React-based components and services
• Support and maintain developed code
• Integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines for React-based services
• Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams in an agile environment

What we need you to bring:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with strong software development experience
• Demonstrated strength in React and Javascript testing frameworks like Cypress
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing and agile development methodologies
• Well versed with git source control
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision
• Strong desire to create readable, testable, maintainable code
