Mission of Blackhawk Network’s is to be a market leader in Issuing/Processing Services which provide a highly scalable and feature rich complete end-to-end solution to issue and process both open loop and closed loop prepaid payment products. The foundation of this service/product offering brings innovation, value creation, and profitability for Blackhawk’s Partners for both existing and emerging prepaid payment utilities.

Blackhawk Network’s Accounting and Settlement Product team is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and prior experience collaborating with stakeholder and engineering teams to deliver innovative SAAS platform solutions. The candidate must have both a proven track record building technical product services and a desire to drive amazing new product capabilities in the critical internal and external customer journey.

• Manage from concept to launch, collaborating with internal experts and clients to produce intelligent and insightful products and create holistic solutions partnering with technical program managers and engineers to deliver on product roadmap.

• Own the launch and release plans, collaborating with Account Managers, Business teams, executive stakeholders, etc. to ensure proper prioritization of product features.

• Strategically and tactically own product roadmap development for Blackhawk’s world class eCommerce platform and solutions (Prepaid – Open Loop, Closed Loop and Digital products.)

• Define and ship products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.

• Transform product strategy into well-articulated business requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to inform product direction and prioritization.

• Sharing regular sprint/key product initiative status reports with senior leaders.

• Data and Metrics driven approach for solving problems.

• Prioritize experiments and innovation on regular basis for business growth.

• Communicate clearly with well-defined ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as functional / technical deep dives.

Experience:

• Fantastic problem-solving abilities with data and metrics, analytical horsepower, and attention to detail.

• Ability and willingness to work with distributed engineering, sales, and services teams.

• Ability to think like a mini CEO to drive the success of Blackhawk Network’s product offerings.

• Leadership through influence rather than organization structures. Proven ability to motivate, lead, and collaborate with cross-functional product development teams and manage interactions across product areas.

• 4+ years of relevant, hands-on product management experience and demonstrated success at building eCommerce platform for internal customers.

• Domain experience in SAAS Planform and eCommerce is preferred.

• Understanding of relevant technology and tools including APIs, cloud solutions, workflow, system design, tools (programming languages, UX design, etc.) and eCommerce Platform

• Experience in building Enterprise B2C platforms

• Strong product design skills, from both a technical API and user interface design perspective.

• Strong Business Requirements and Product Requirements development skills, including but not limited to use-case, business case development, system/sequence diagrams, workflow and domain model development.

• BE with MBA or equivalent practical experience.

• 4+ years of relevant technical product management experience.

• 4+ years specific domain experience building products in SAAS Platform, eCommerce solutions is must.

• Experience in managing end to end product launches.

• Usage of Scrum/Agile methodologies.

• Expert in writing Technical and Product Specs / Use case flows.

• Positive attitude, and a collaborative approach towards problem solving.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities.

• Background in building finance and accounting software/platforms.
