As a Consultant – Analytics with the Blue Matter Team, you will work collaboratively with senior internal team members to address critical business issues in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals and deliver value through providing innovative and actionable solutions to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Research and deep dive into data sets and information sources based on the context and business requirements

• Analyze the data and extract key insights, opportunities, and threats

• Develop and apply advanced statistical models and perform advanced analytics that helps clients understand dynamic business issues and solutions

• Build models using Excel/VBA, SAS, Alteryx and other tools to assess the effects on business operations/sales/marketing based on different permutations and combinations

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to create solutions plans and deliver client impact

• Develop client relationships and serve as a key point of contact on all aspects of projects

• Mentor/coach junior associates to deliver high-quality output

• Design custom solutions and develop recommendations for the client by applying analytical techniques

• Create visually rich, engaging and efficient tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, Qlik, to communicate the insights

Required Experience and Skills

• 3-5 years of work experience in Analytics or as an Associate Consultant in analytics

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/SQL/Alteryx/R/Python

• Knowledge of PowerPoint and visualization tools to represent insights

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work across global cross-office teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• BE/BTech/BS (Statistics) from a reputable institution

• MTech/MS (Statistics) from a reputable institution is desirable
