Job Description

Finance Chief Data Office is a newly formed team to establish the data governance framework across Finance. The team partners with the Data Strategy and Digital groups to execute the data disciplines. We supports data consumers to drive data quality across Finance functions, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, CFO teams and corporate treasury. We aim to provide transparency of our data asset and actively manage the asset to contribute to the fulfilment of regulatory requirements and creation of operational efficiency. The CDO function plays a critical role in the transformation of the organization by connecting data, technology, processes and controls.
Providing end to end Business Intelligence and reporting processes solutions across Finance is one of the core capabilities of the Finance CDO team. The Senior SharePoint solution specialist is a critical role in providing data integration and workflow based solutions. The role will be a key leader across multiple projects working with Business Teams in understanding processes, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and developing the appropriate SharePoint based solutions. This position will play a key role in accomplishing end to end automation of Finance processes, saving significant manual efforts and contributing to the digitization of Finance function.
Key Responsibilities

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web part(s) using a combination of work flows and web development technologies.
• Works as a SharePoint developer, web developer, and SharePoint strategist and maintain responsibility for supporting need of various business groups and driving enduring results back to clients.
• Able to Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain and debug software applications and interfaces that support business units.
• Support the development of technical solution documentation and training.
• Design, maintain, improve, integrate, and develop online SharePoint solutions using latest version including internal and/or external web sites.
• Able to plan, lead, and execute SharePoint and other .Net web development tasks.
• Able to work with end users to develop and modify SharePoint sites. Captures requirements, develop site content framework and SharePoint web parts.
• Able to train end users and updates SharePoint tools
• Improving the control environment through technology capabilities
• Develops and implements process improvements to team efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring consistently high service delivery standards
• Provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed. May lead projects and/or analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer discipline combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional development experience using SharePoint, client facing.
• Experience in using SharePoint Forms and SharePoint Designer
• Experience in software development using.NET Framework, MS-SQL Server, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Extensive experience with implementing workflows
• Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of the box SharePoint functionality.
• Proficiency in programming in the following computer languages: HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript.
• Proficiency in using the following frameworks/libraries: NET, ASP.NET, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with web development and data transfer techniques to create asynchronous web applications such as AJAX and JSON.
• Self-starter – Should drive projects on their own with minimal direction needed
• Knowledge of the structuring of data environments and applications that use big data processes is a preferred.
• Superb communication skills – Strong written and oral communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Confident and calm demeanor with ability to perform under pressure and handle difficult situations

• Experience with Business Intelligence data management and visualization applications specific to “big data” and the ability to use SQL, R, Python and other computer languages used for analysis and structuring is preferred.
• Knowledge of the structuring of data environments and applications that use big data processes is a preferred.
• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture and/or Data Warehousing; preferably in a shared or enterprise data environment.
