Job Description

1. The role is responsible to use the Supply Chain Network Design-method in a Project environment.
2. Implementation of Ideal Value Stream principals in all PS value streams. Ensure that logistics aspects are considered in all phases of the Product Life Cycle.
3. Cross-functional support for Manufacturing, Quality and Rationalization projects
4. Lead and coordinate Supply Chain improvement projects according to aligned Service Contracts with our internal customers. To show effects of changes in our supply chains concerning Logistics costs, CO2, Inventory and Lead time.
5. Usage of PSI-Software and Power-BI to reach a high service level for our customers. To create dashboards according the demand and advice of the customers.
6. As IT-Expert within logistics you are responsible for new conception of data analysis in our team and increasing degree of automation the simulation process in our PSI-Software.
7. In collaboration with RB-internal and external Center of Competences you develop further approaches in data analysis and predictive analytics and realize reporting solutions according requirements of divisional logistics department and PS-plants world-wide.
8. Develop solutions in our software and consider AI-based solution approaches.
9. Creating IT-concepts and take over trainings and support for the users in our team.

Qualifications
Education: B.E. /B.Tech /MBA (supply chain /operations)
Qualification: Theoretical and practical knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g. learned in university or leisure time) is necessary. Advanced knowledge in algorithms, numerical analysis and algebra. Multi-annual operative experience in logistics processes, our SAP-systems (ERP, APO) and reporting landscape of BBM. (BI, BW, SAC)
Exceptional candidates with astute analytical mind, enthusiastic to explore, visualize & analyze data could also apply.
5 to 8 years of experience preferred
Desirable is cross functional and cross location experience

Additional Information
Know-How: very good product and/or process knowledge to apply the theory in your own data science project. Additional preferable is know-how in further programming languages like Python and Java.
Practical experience within Logistics and software-usage (proficiency in MS Office)
Knowledge about RB product development process / Product Engineering Process is an advantage
Personality: Very good command on English. High willingness and intrinsic motivation to learn. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to explain and share your knowledge. You act proactive with an analytic approach to solve challenges. Complex data analysis inspires you.
German Language would be an asset
