The Network Architect Specialist independently executes a range of workstreams in delivering and maintaining network architecture and strategy across group locations including data centres and cloud providers supporting internal and external customer’s operational needs.

What you’ll be doing

1. Contributes to the design of network architecture, delivering creative solutions to drive innovation in support of business strategies.

2. Contributes to the design of network topologies, architectures, and services that solve complex business requirements.

3. Independently delivers work including capacity creation, engineering change orders, methods of procedures, etc. .

4. Executes efforts to optimise network performance by growing and modifying existing networks, leveraging new and emerging technologies in support of application services.

5. Monitors the Group’s network security to ensure optimal network safeguard processes are in place and operational networks are running efficiently for hosted production systems.

6. Ensures quality and accurate documentation, including for network design specifications and high-level designs.

7. Mentors other network architects, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resource

8. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in network architecture
