We launched Equip about 1.5 years ago. We were just a bunch of developers and thought, “Build and they will come”. They didn’t, really! Then, we hired our first marketing person and they started to trickle in. Then, we hired more marketing people and we have started to see a steady stream of leads from our marketing efforts. Most of these companies are startups with <100 employees, as that is what Marketing has yielded.

At this point, the Marketing people just want to market. They want to hand over the MQLs to someone seasoned, someone who likes to talk to prospects, follow up with them, etc. Also, now that we are seeing early signs of PMF, we are looking to scale up our ABM efforts with direct outreach for larger companies

We want someone who can:

1. Reach out to companies with 100-1000 headcount
2. Conduct demo calls and handle the subsequent sales pipeline
3. Handle customer success

This would work best if you:

1. Love talking to people and empathising with them
2. Understand Product at least, if not Tech
3. Have at least 2 years of experience selling in SaaS
4. Have great communication skills and impeccable English

As a SaaS product, we enjoy great margins. So, we can pay very attractive commissions!
