Job Description

• You deliberate decision making with respect to design and development of functionality within the context of the development tasks you work on. You take responsibility for the quality of the functionality you develop.
• As a RADD Platform Engineer you will be part of a Scum Agile development team. Some of the development team’s responsibilities include delivering work in sprints and ensuring transparency during the sprint in daily scrums. You take responsibility for estimating, planning, and managing all of your development tasks. You will collaborate closely with all the other members of your development team to take a shared responsibility for the overall efforts the team has committed to.
• Expected to have Mendix Rapid Developer Certification and the Mendix Advanced Developer Certification within the first year on the job.
• Relevant technical or business Bachelor Degree or higher.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Scrum and the ability to build software using Scrum in real-world situations.
• Expected to obtain Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certificate (AZ-900) within the six months and Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) within in the first year on the job.
• Independent and able to work in a team.
• Analytic and a problem solver.
• Structured and accurate.
• A proactive attitude and willing to make that extra step.
• Knowledge and experience in any or some of the following disciplines is a very strong plus Java, JavaScript, Xpath, CSS, HTML, relational databases or Kubernetes.
