5+ years of experience in WebSphere Application Server Administration
Extensive experience in installation, configuration, deployments and ,management of enterprise applications using Websphere Application Server 7.0/8.0/8.5 on linux/unix.
Extensive experience in installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and webserver plug-in.
Extensive experience in creating new Virtual Hosts, host aliases and the generation, propagation of plug-in.
Hands on experience in deploying (WAR,EAR), maintaining and troubleshooting of applications in Websphere environment.
Creation and configuration of data sources for database connectivity and also configuration of JMS resources.
Monitoring and Configuration of WAS servers, diagnosed and resolved WAS issues and failures.
Worked on Problem tickets (PMRs) with IBM to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issue.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts.
Primary Skills
Extensive experience in installation, configuration, deployments and ,management of enterprise applications using Websphere Application Server 7.0/8.0/8.5 on linux/unix.

Should be good in troubleshooting performance problems (memory/heap, CPU Starvation, hung threads)
Should be good in Installed fix packs to overcome application server problems
Should have good Experience with IHS webserver configuration.
Worked on Problem tickets (PMRs) with IBM to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issue.
